Looking at larps some more, it gets a bit more do-able having games next to each other, especially if it is Legion of Dreams as that is one of the closer ones, to leave after time out on Saturday to drive back and have the whole of Sunday free to flomp about/snooze/kit sort/catch up on weekend running etc.. So am theoretically OK with this layout of games next year:

March 27th/28th - Legion of Dreams
April 17th/18th - Legion of Dreams
April 23rd-27th - E1
June 11th-15th - E2
June 19th-21st - Faerie Tales
July 23rd-27th - E3
September 4th/5th - Legion of Dreams
September 10th-15th - E4
October 16th/17th - Legion of Dreams

Must make sure to keep May and August free of games, as they currently are (especially as I am away sometime in August), and then I think it might be ok...

I have running races in January, March and September, none of them on weekends next to games, which is also good. Might book at least one more race in May but that will be OK too. Bourne Free (Bournemouth pride) is potentially the second weekend of July, which also does not interfere with anything...

Thinking about next year and what I would like to focus on.

2019 was a year full of larps - returning to old games, trying a new one, and continuing things I had been doing. But I am not sure how much I want to continue doing that many games, especially if they come back to back to each other or next to holidays as it got way too much this year and the build up of wibble exploded my brain.

I am not planning too much holiday-wise next year, have 1, possibly 2 UK trips but that is it, so that side of things is easier, but I think I need to make sure I don't do more than one game a month. Tricky in June as it's both Faerie Tales and Empire, and those are next to each other (there are 2 months where Legion of Dreams and Empire are next to each other as well), but then there are some months with no games so maybe one of these back to backs might be ok, giving priority to June as I've booked those games already.

I think the main things I want to do more of are gardening and running, now the vegetable beds, growhouse, potting shed etc. are built I can start at the beginning of the growing season unlike last year, and I have lots of things I want to try to grow. This is not very compatible with being away multiple weekends, another reason to stay at home.

Also discovered park runs last month which are both good fitness and free, plus because you can be back home again by 10am on Saturday morning, are fabulously compatible with gardening. I booked 3 actual races locally too so I have some goals to work towards, including a 10 mile one in March which could be interesting!

There are a few DIY projects ongoing, the winter one (sorting the trees of doom) might end up being more than I can do by myself eventually, but will see how far I can get with that. The others, mainly painting/retouching ceilings and walls, are quite easy. I have ideas forming to rejuvenate the kitchen but that's something that will have to wait until 2021 I think because of money and plotting and researching specifics.
